Going towards Famara from Teguise, take the road that goes off to the right just behind the first bend to reach the take-off at the base of the slope, you can climb with the glider controlled until you have the height you need to take off. Alternatively, there are two other take-offs, one on each hill, which can be reached by car from the entrance to the village opposite the petrol station. On good days you can go via Famara, Mirador del Rio and reach the northern tip of the island. Wind W-NW
 
On Sundays, La Villa is full of life due to the famous flea market, and in the evening there is a good atmosphere in the bar La Palmera.
