On Lanzarote the hot air flows in whimsical ways, note the corridor of cultivation (picón) coming from the sea to the volcano pot, the perfect corridor for the fresh sea air to warm up as it arrives. It's certainly not a flight for everyone.
 
It's a very intimate place too, with its spectacular views. Access is not easy to find, but the map helps. NW-NE basically thermal.
